The year is 2009. The fabled Xbox 360, in it's dying plea for help, issues a final and fatal strategic offensive. In this, a four year old answer to a four year old problem has arrived. The 360 has found it's second wind as it's savior, the X-Engine, arrives to form an alliance. A generalized 360 prepares for battle with a nearby console using specialized tactics. The PS3 has become a threat on all fronts today and the X-Engine will hope to push the 360 to it's graphical limits. We have, my friends, what Sony has had from the start...a console pushed to it's maximum potential. It will be a battle to remember. Who will win? Who will lose? Can this mysterious X-Engine singlehandedly defeat the CELL and it's 7 SPE counterparts? In a nutshell, the X-Engine will be bringing more memory into the mix for the 360 and it's games. The PS3 may need to activate the 8th SPE should one fall in battle. It could get bloody and games like Killzone 2 may be possible on the 360 next year. Say your prayers. Blu-Ray may not be needed afterall.
